ICE Tower

If this becomes a parking lot it needs to be treated the same way as the Arlington site one was. Either develop or let it sit. No collecting revenue on an ugly and warranted lot.

I think it will just be a few stalls along the alley, which is what was there before. Seems fine to me while they ramp up for whatever's happening at this site.

I believe the barrier along the east side is temporary, I’ve heard that Westrich still intends to use the site as a parking lot until construction starts on the tower. The east side still isn’t level with the alley, until that is addressed they probably installed the fencing to deter people from parking/driving on to the remains of the building. To confirm with Ian there is a basement, I’ve seen workers using the stairs that were along the north wall during the demolition. They also braced the basement with jack posts. No idea if Westrich is going to keep the existing building as is for parking or remove it and back fill. I’ve heard it maybe years before construction starts on the tower, so the site may stay as is for the winter with the single row of parking retained and the chain along the east edge to keep vehicles off of it.

Can someone help me out and explain how that car got on there? I don't see a gap in that fence anywhere... is there another entrance?
There’s more room on the south side along the apartment building then the picture makes it appear to be. The building’s foundation is also close to grade there, not sure why they always drive that vehicle on there instead of parking along the barrier.
