Timbit already has a campaign sign up by South Common. And Walters is on the billboard by Whitemud and Gateway. My estimate is the opposite. Cartmell victory, but close. Knack isn’t campaigning hard enough yet imo.

That's a very good question. I have a feeling that they're being very loose with that stuff for now purely to ease us into the idea of having municipal parties. Then as time goes on and the system becomes entrenched, I bet they'll start tightening the screws. Unless, of course, enough pressure is applied that the UCP is forced to give up on this "pilot."So, according to one of the hopefuls on the Better Edmonton Slate, he was in support of allowing the market to control infill, rather than council. Still, he said the party wasn’t meant to all share the same perspective on issues.
“The formation of the party was always on the basis of allowing for disagreement, allowing for a variety of opinions when it comes to different issues. There’s no whipping the vote,” said Kandola.
Which begs the question - if all thirteen of the candidates forming the slate don’t share the same perspective and disagree on different issues, WTF is the point of forming a party and running a slate or asking voters to support a slate in the first place?
Knack is the only one door knocking. Big signs only attract non-voters. They are a waste of time.
Another big turn off for me with Cartmell is the signage for him that has shown up on a space of a prominent development company downtown on Jasper Ave.It's between Knack and Walters for me.
At one time I was for Cartmell but not anymore.
Got a YYC'er video there partner....care to remove it?Election only about 80 days away.
I didn't intend on watching this entire video in Knack but I thought I would check it out as part of my research on who to vote for.
You will learn about how Knack stands on almost all the issues from dealing with the province, homelessness, city budgets, crime/safety, Ice District etc.
He is one of the most impressive politicians I've seen - very thoughtful and open in his responses and why he takes the positions he does. There is no gamesmanship and manipulation. Very transparent and honest - I find. I'm interested to hear more from Walters but Knack is impressive and he's been good for this city.
In terms of Ward O'day-min, the first to announce was Anand Pye and I thought he would have potential but I have seen or heard nothing from him so far. I checked out his website and it's weak - I learned next to nothing about what his positions are. Disappointing.
At this point it's Stevenson for me.
I hope Salvador wins, but I can't vote for here.

Curious what the N value is - quick math says you could get these percentages with 29 respondents.
One of the slogans on his campaign office window is: "LET'S GET SHIT DONE". I'm trying to wrap that sentiment around his infill moratorium stunt and failing, frankly.Another big turn off for me with Cartmell is the signage for him that has shown up on a space of a prominent development company downtown on Jasper Ave.
I feel he is a confusing or conflicting mix of populist anti density zoning in the front combined with a cozy relationship with developers in the back. I'd call it the political mullet.
It's a shame, because the underlying sentiment shows an understanding of what is most upsetting to residents (especially constant construction that immediately crumbles), but does not show an understanding of how to fix these problems. One of the slogans on his campaign office window is: "LET'S GET SHIT DONE". Yes, when presented with an opportunity to get something done, he failed, but I suppose vague positive sounding slogans remain the refuge of a political scoundrel. One of the slogans on his campaign office window is: "LET'S GET SHIT DONE".
