This canopy is taking so long. I see workers on it maybe one week out of the month. As for the Mech upgrades they are moving along. Saw them cleaning the cooling tower on Monday. Or I saw the fluff blowing out of the tower as they used high pressure air. Kinda looked like it was snowing on Jasper ave. The canopy should have been done by now .

Maybe they should've contracted the people who build PetroCan stations to do it. WOuld've been faster, for sure.

I think it looks fine... kinda like transit infrastructure, the headhouse for a furnicular or something.

I remember at one time this portico was an architectural favorite of one of our senior members -- he seems to have since pulled his "rave" comments. I wonder what his raison d'être was.

Actually, saw a guy on a scissor lift work on site Sat. And the cooling tower cladding looks like it is going to be a mirror finish.

^can confirm. drove past today and the mirrored panels are being attached. Guess they're trying the old "pepper's ghost" trick to make it disappear..
