Edmonton Convention Centre Atrium Modernization | ?m | ?s | ECC | DIALOG

^can confirm. drove past today and the mirrored panels are being attached. Guess they're trying the old "pepper's ghost" trick to make it disappear..

Some more added glass on the canopy And more reflective cladding on the cooling tower mechanical portion but still really slow.

I was in the Philippines for the entire month of February.
Amazing! I've been in Philippines since February also, still here. It has inspired me to hustle more on my Edmonton projects and highlight the region we have!

On topic, I look forward to seeing how this new canopy turns out! This stretch of Jasper has been a nice little transformation in recent years.

It's certainly simple and value driven, but is cleaner and more modern.
I does look good I have to admit. But all the time I worked downtown it was under construction or so it seemed. It will feel nicer during this year's Marathon. Last few years that felt congested.

I feel it is an improvement, but like so many of the projects downtown in recent years, this seemed painfully slow and disruptive. We need to figure out how to do downtown construction better.

Completely agree.

I went on a rant to my partner the other day about how disruptive and downright painfully slow every project downtown is these days. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy there is development in the core, but right now everything is a disaster, looks like a mess and taking countless years to complete. It's really agitating.
