I imagine Cidex is going to mobilize for this soon, now that 122 is moving to envelope.
Funny......I was thinking the exact same thing.....only make sense right? Already have the crew, foreman, PM's etc....simple segway....I imagine Cidex is going to mobilize for this soon, now that 122 is moving to envelope.
Longer term that is the plan. That said, as previously noted somewhere in this thread, they are starting with the north side first, which includes a tower and the smaller podium building. South of the east west lane (middle of the site) will be the second phase. If they build all 3 towers this area near whyte will look VERY urban
Maybe integrate it somehow, but I like that building so I do hope they keep it. Best of all it is being built on an empty lot, so nothing needs to be torn down and it will fill this area in nicely.Longer term that is the plan. Now that Polar Park went under, one has to think about whether that could have been integrated into the overall project, at least from a landscaping perspective.
Only explanation for that, to me, is unit size (including higher number of 3+ bedrooms) and lack of height to have as many units.I find it odd that this project would only be 495 dwellings; one would think that given the site and walkability that you could do 750-1000 there.
