Two months since our last update, and progress at Augustana has been moving along quickly. The 30-storey high-rise by Pangman and DIALOG has now popped well above its protective hoarding, thereby giving onlookers their first glimpse of the work now underway.

Located at the corner of 107 St NW and 99 Ave NW, northeast of the Legislature, and close to the Government District, the 230-unit Augustana will soon deliver upwards of 300 residents to the rapidly transforming neighbourhood. Once the site of the Augustana Church, the arrival of a modern high-rise to the area will help form a bridge between the Government District and downtown.

Close to downtown, well-connected to transit, and within easy walking distance to the delights of Jasper Ave, Augustana will likely be a prime address upon its completion. With at least 28/30 floors yet to go, however, it will be some time yet before we get a fuller picture of the development now in progress.

SkyriseEdmonton will be sure to return to this project as progress continues. For more information, check out the associated Database file and Forum thread, and as always, feel free to join the conversation in the comments section below.
