Saw two of the beams coming up QE2 on Monday and wasn't sure what they were for... now I know.

It looks like that simple span is going to be wide enough for an 8-lane expressway.

Let's hope active users get a wee bit of that space. As much as I loved the look of the old bridge, it was an uncomfortable bottleneck on the Oliverbahn.

I believe that is similar to the east path on the Groat Rd bridge south of Victoria Park Road, for reference.
