Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

Sorry I should clarify, does anyone know when that specific section in front of Monaco 2 from ADP to Norquest will be finished? There is some significant streetscaping and changes to that avenue I can't image it would be less than a year.
2 years for construction. So 2027 Fall the ave is likely mostly done and reopened. But testing and landscaping likely happening spring 2028.

I’m guessing that most of the catenary/ductwork is done (Lewis Farms-156 Street Station, 142 Street-Groat Road, 120 Street-107 Street Station).

Station construction will probably continue at Misericordia and WEM stations in 2026, and track construction and catenary construction will progress between Meadowlark and Lewis Farms.

If we’re at 52% complete, I’m guessing it’s possible to have a lot of the track and station construction done in 2026.

Construction is supposed to be done by the end of 2028 if everything goes right ( which never does ) then they will be doing testing and integration before it opens for public . Also we don’t even know yet who is operating the line
We were having this conversation earlier in the thread. Marigold seems to have upped the pace over the past 3-4 quarters and, of they keep it up, we're looking at 7-8 more quarters of construction, plus commissioning.

I’m guessing most stations won’t be until 2027. A lot of road work and track work to do. A few early ones like Glenora might finish in 2026, but most are probably 2027, especially the final installs of furniture, machines, etc.

It looks like construction has begun in Strathearn. Finally. This will certainly help out Valley Line ridership.

I hope if there are any more intersections that need to be completed that they can hopefully close the intersection like they have done this last year and speed up the process. I think that method that they used this year worked out really well and I think it would be wise that not only here on the valley line but on most LRT Construction in the future around the city should try to do that to hopefully lessen the impact to the respective surrounding areas.
