Here's hoping this nice fall weather continues until the end of the month to really help push forward some of the sections.
The roads already been paved?I don't particularly understand the focus on trackbed over road on SPR through Glenora.
I think most of the roads on SPR between 142 Street and the Groat Bridge are complete. I'm not sure if sections east of the Groat Bridge are close to completion. The roads already been paved?
People are so in favour of moving towards environment sustainability transit and better mobility, but when construction actually takes time to build, we NEED to open the road.Weather starts hitting negatives next week. Sure hope this section opens up asap. Bridge and east of groat still needs a lot of work.
But thankfully they’re finishing track bed and random curbs elsewhere…?
This is what people mean by construction timing. Get this section reopened already, sheesh.

Of course track work is easier when closed. So do the work. Instead of having 5 guys every 20 blocks along the route doing curbs, get the most critical sections finished and opened. SPR being opened will help relieve 102ave which is seeing brutal congestion right now. That bridge connection is key.People are so in favour of moving towards environment sustainability transit and better mobility, but when construction actually takes time to build, we NEED to open the road.
Track work is easier to do when the road is closed. I don’t know what’s so hard to understand about it. They have until the end of November, they have lots of time
