@KyleBlanchett IIRC that proposal is 10-15 years old now, is it back in active planning?

@Daveography That is correct. This tower was supposed to go up with the other 2 but was delayed for 10 years for some reason.

Lets hope there is better engineering on this one. I worked on the last 2 back in the 90s or late 80s. Back when we still used pneumatic controls.
The first 2 were mirror images. literally. there was an issue with cooling and ventilation. when we looked closer at it , we noticed the duct sizing was all wrong in one tower. when you turn the drawing to match the first tower everything matched. the other tower was 90 degrees off so the heat loads could not be reduced by the ventilation. Its since been fixed.

We'll see if this actually gets built, would be nice to see that lot filled. I do seem to recall however, a sign on that property for quite some time 5-6 years ago saying this was "coming soon" so I wouldn't hold my breath. This seems like one of those projects that keeps getting revived, only to be axed again.

Strange that they would be working on this with what I would imagine most of their resources being dedicated to Alldritt Tower...

They have to staff up for the operational aspects of the big tower -- more people = more space
