That would be AMAZING, but wont happen due to land economics.
Could you incorporate something into a podium, you bet.

If it was so easy to successfully incorporate these things into podiums, the Hat's podium across the street wouldn't be empty...That would be AMAZING, but wont happen due to land economics.

That is true, although the Hat podium while nice is not that interesting. Something with more character on a less busy street might work better, but the area sure does have its challenges. If it was so easy to successfully incorporate these things into podiums, the Hat's podium across the street wouldn't be empty...
I think this was posted in the Miscellaneous thread at one point...but haven't heard anything on it since.Did we know about this (9511 103 Ave NW)? I can't tell if this is a cool new project or one that died years ago (but the sign at least looks fresh).

I believe FHAI is just the contracted architect in both instances, with different developers between this and Metro 78, so the lacking progress on the latter should have no bearing on this proposal.Alright, so somewhere in between "cool and new" and "died years ago." But given how slowly Metro 78 is going, we might not see much movement here for a while?

I honestly think they’ve abandoned it recognizing they were just spinning their tires.CMLC just announced 5 new projects, including yet another hotel, for the East Village.
Crickets for the Quarters. Is anyone even steering it anymore? Zero promo or movement it seems.
