The tarps in the north end zone need to go. Stands should be added in the south end zone for 2027 when the field changes.

The atmosphere has been great in the last two home games.
Winnipeg won just before the Elks game on Saturday so they are still 4 pts. ahead. The next game for both teams is against each other in two weeks at Commonwealth (both are on byes this weekend). Hopefully we get nice weather and a big crowd for that one as well.

Our last stretch of games is certainly going to be interesting and all of them potentially 'winnable'.
I've liked a lot about what I'm seeing of late and they are just getting better; coming together as a group and even moments of swagger.
Here's hoping that we can go 3-0 and ride a wave of confidence into the playoffs.

CGY has been in freefall since LD, and though it's not highly probable, there is a path where that final game of the season determines which team gets the final playoff spot. That is the chaos I am rooting for.

^^ If we win both of our remaining games and WPG loses both of theirs we are in. I think they also have a chance to catch CGY. Again we need to win both (last game is at home against CGY) and CGY would also have to lose against TO next week.

The Elks have been eliminated from the playoffs after losing to the BC Lions last night.

Better record than last season but another without playoffs, which sucks. Hopefully that changes next season.

I can live without playoffs for this year, but next year is a different story. New GM and coaching staff this year and a huge turnover in player personnel so they get a pass from me. Next year there NEEDS to be improvement. Hervey promised to end the "revolving door" so you have your coaches and seemingly a decent core group of youngish players for next year so stick with them all and DON'T start the year 0-3 or 0-4 or 0-5 again. Playoffs is a must next year and if I were Hervey and Killam I would set a home playoff game (first one in 10 years?) as the goal for next year.

Everything is trending the right way on and off of the field.

The CFL relies on Edmonton to perform well in terms of fan draw. There have been two outstanding eras in terms of the Eskimos -- The Jackie Parker/Johnny Bright/Normie Kwon era and the Warren Moon/Tom Wilkinson/Dave Cutler era. The Elks need to get bullish especially around rutting season.
