It is good to see the Downtown Business Association put this out. It is clear, brief and informative. However, isn't this the type of PSA the city should also put out?

About the only exception I'd make about the sidewalk cleaning could be empty lots. The City could send out someone with a leaf blower.

Has anyone seen Downtown businesses sweeping from steps/sidewalks into the street in preparation?

I ask this again, why is it that we can remove snow in 72hrs (for the most part), but we cannot send crews out to sweep and have sweepers follow for our main areas and have them done in 3-5 days around Whyte, Downtown, UofA, 124st, etc.

This product is being advertised ad nauseam -- seems like most places could take the City out of the equation and keep their own sidewalks spark-ely clean. "Gets rid of dirt and grime and grease in just a minute" Cleans the whole sidewalk and everything that's in it.

Advertised ad nauseam - and you just have to love the pitch:
✔ 100× stronger than regular garden trousers
✔ Removes moss, dirt & buildup in seconds
✔ Saves money on costly pressure washers
✔ Universal fit for most garden hoses
Wouldn't a universal fit apply to all garden hoses, not just most?
And they might be 100x stronger than "regular garden trousers" but they don't look all that comfortable where the fit counts the most...
