102 Ave from 109-124st is my favorite stretch to walk - and although greatly improved at this 111st location, it is still disappointing that this parking was kept at this location and changes the charming vibe of 102Ave on the southside of the street for this one block - a boulevard with trees would be so much better.

Agreed, though at least the sidewalk was moved beside the building, before you had to walk behind the parked cars which I'm sure resulted in a few close calls over the years.

The Corona Hotel was replaced by the Corona LRT station entrance and the First Edmonton Place building.

There were two buildings, the original Corona Hotel and the larger one that replaced it after it burned down, IMO both beautiful buildings.

I could be wrong, but I believe the original was a bit further east partly where the parking lot is now and the replacement more where First Edmonton Place and the LRT station is now.
