I agree, Ian. They should use one of the two remaining lanes as a dedicated bus lane.

I agree. I am constantly surprised by such people with money and horrible taste, who take something old nice that just needs some tlc and repairs, but turn it into something hideous.

So more work for the next person I guess, unless it becomes unsalvageable. There are more barbarians like that here where history is less appreciated and common, but sadly they are everywhere.
