Anyone know why the windows were replaced?

I think I liked the old look better, the white windows are busy and distracting from the brickwork and the building overall. Maybe it will grow on me.

Yes, the green colour which was fashionable at the time, but not now, seemed to blend in much better with the brick colour.

I think we can get used to white, but it stands out more and is the colour of a lot of modern windows so it doesn't seem as historic.
