Are any of these multi family ideas built yet? The one we know is being built for sure is in Garneau on the East side of 109th, but that one is not even listed on their site.
Looks right to me. 35 DUs, estimated to complete this year (if it isn't already).^ The North Glenora project I believe is the Canadian Manor project.
A nice move to help reverse one of the worst urban design tragedies in this city, but also reads like a sad indictment of the inability to book Edmonton Convention Centre conference spaceWill be good to see this stark looking building opened up to retail.

ECC does manage to book a reasonably consistent major event schedule, but the huge overhead to run a place like that makes it near impossible to generate ROI. If you're looking for a venue that's perpetually on life support, the Winspear is a prime example.A nice move to help reverse one of the worst urban design tragedies in this city, but also reads like a sad indictment of the inability to book Edmonton Convention Centre conference space
Are we sure it’s east and not west? The building to the west would make way more sense for retail. Will be good to see this stark looking building opened up to retail.

but also, change of use from conference centre to retail also makes a guy think it isn't, unless the previous "welcome centre" was considered under the former.
Sure there is and was and will be.^ that's a mechanical room. no room for retail there.
I'm not that impressed. This looks like two different buildings crudely smushed together. Not Edmonton (Killarney in Calgary), but I'm a fan of the rendered townhome design from FARMOR. Beautiful street-facing facade.

What's wrong with the original coloring? I can't say I'm thrilled about the replacement with gray. It makes me wonder if I live in the world of The Giver.Am I the only one who is 100% okay with that first photo? The original colouring is hideous.
