Yes it appears to be the lot north of Rogers Place given its RZ and called a 'village' which is the vision for Phase 2

Anyone else thinks that Katz might have snapped one of the spots for the CoR incentives?
They were ready to pull the trigger on this for 2020 before Covid hit...

Here's an update of some random projects from around Northwest Edmonton. Excuse the sloppy pictures.

Firstly is Bellwether Park in Wellington / Athlone. To a layman like me, it's honestly embarrassing how long it's taken to build only a handful of new townhomes. For twenty-some years I lived only a few blocks away. From what I remember, the site was cleared back around 2007-08 and the first homes built in ~2015. Only now are they almost finished the block:

Next up, the 'restoration' of Calder's old Shop Easy. Seeing it up close for the first time, I like it even less then I did whenever we last talked about it on here. I still think the new apartments above are way too overbearing on the 'original' building (again only two walls of the old store were saved). The neighbouring townhomes are alright, but I think they could've shined with a less depressing paint job:

And then there's a new seniors' housing development going up in Lauderdale. They're replacing some cute old-age duplexes from the '60s. Seems decent all around. Excavation must have just started — they've cleared maybe all of two feet down around the lot:

^nice to see Bellwether continuing on continuing.

I worked for that group for the launch and we nearly sold phase 1 out, but then few closed for a variety of reasons.

Wheaton/One has cleaned up and put down some sod on the empty lot directly east of the new southpark building. Still fenced off, so I'm not sure if it's just to make it look a bit nicer, or if there's something a bit more exciting to come.
