The people who work at and visit this law office may patronize nearby restaurants, coffee shops, etc..., so I feel its a small but good thing.
Most definitelyEvery small scale business/enterprise moving downtown is a win!
Drove down Stony plain road yesterday. Noticed the Alibi (Capones) site along with the little strip mall to the east are being torn down.

Yeah I've noticed it has been fenced off lately too. Wonder if they're going to tear it down and put in another car dealership or something.Drove down Stony plain road yesterday. Noticed the Alibi (Capones) site along with the little strip mall to the east are being torn down.

If there is a CT going in there it will replace the one at 178st. Probably be a monster one. Also noticed there is a structure going up at the NW corner of Stony Plain Road and 186 Street. Wonder if the Sunwapta Centre West expansion is finally going ahead full bore.
From the website it looks like there'll be a Canadian Tire, Dollarama, Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, AW, and Firehouse Subs.
Going to be quite the commercial node there.
Sunwapta Centre - Cameron Development Corporation
Well-situated at the major intersection of the Anthony Henday (HWY 216) and Stony Plain Road in West Edmonton, Sunwapta Centre accommodates both a large residential and industrial population, which accounts greatly for the Centre’s current popularity and success. There's definitely not enough parking for costco in the site plan. This area will be a zoo.^if the site plan is to be believed, the Canadian Tire looks to be 50% larger than the Costco to the north...monster indeed.
The Costco has been open for a couple of years now and the smallish parking lot thats built so far seems to handle it just fine, its a Costco business centre so the traffic isn't as crazy as a normal Costco. There's definitely not enough parking for costco in the site plan. This area will be a zoo.
I wonder if Costco will close its 149th Street location and move into the vacated Canadian Tire. The Costco has been open for a couple of years now and the smallish parking lot thats built so far seems to handle it just fine, its a Costco business centre so the traffic isn't as crazy as a normal Costco.
Do you know if this is by Devereaux? Looks very, very similar to G17 Apartments in TamarackCurrently under construction in Griesbach at the northwest corner of 137 ave and 97 street View attachment 554795View attachment 554796View attachment 554797
It sure is! I got the pics from their website. These will be some really great looking buildings, similar to The Legacy which they just finished a couple streets over.Do you know if this is by Devereaux? Looks very, very similar to G17 Apartments in TamarackView attachment 554801
