Interesting……CN via our fav green and gold contractor is building a new $140M, 512m Beverly Bridge over the N.Saskatchewan……who knew?

It will be interesting to see how that compares to a new HLB option in the near future. Im sure it will be a 1-2 billion dollar bridge at least.

I assume that means we'll be seeing the end of the current 1908 bridge, rather than them rehabbing it and running two, correct? Will be interesting to see if, at $140M, it's an interesting piece to look at or just a high cost due to the elevation of the bridge.

Hopefully it’s replaced with a twinned bridge to support regional rail to Strathcona County

I'm guessing the bridge will be replaced with one with twin tracks, given that CN has the goal of having twin tracks on their main lines.

Good question…..their presser says nothing about “single or double” lines…..
