MacEwan may need some land in the area for future expansion itself, so the remaining parcel could end up even smaller.
Unless I've been misinformed, MacEwan owns some of the land for future expansion. Not so -- it is reserved for a new stadium with high-rise structures in the corners.
So other than the surface parking on the west side of 109th, is that it for "open" land that MacEwan owns?MacU does not own any of the land in this sector.
And lose the charm of being maybe one of the worlds longest hallways?South of the campus sounds good, either way it would be nice to see the campus expand out of its strictly linear layout.
I can admit I've used MacEwan as a pedway to make my way downtown or home on a couple of occasions when there was freezing rain and sidewalks were ice.And lose the charm of being maybe one of the worlds longest hallways?![]()
