Nice enough for student housing. Would be great if some Northlands redevelopment would kick off to give students some amenities and entertainment within walking distance.

Looks like it'll be a great addition to their campus, although it is kind of surprising they're choosing to demo that existing daycare building rather than building on the surface lots behind it.

What unites the Mercury Blocks, 200 West Block, and this project (fingers crossed that the latter two turn out well) is that the uniform exterior is reminiscent of e.g. modernist Bauhaus-influenced buildings in Europe, which not everyone may like but which represents something like a coherent viewpoint. No weird blue streaks or patches of color or any of that. It's better to look like 1930 than 2015, in my opinion.

I'd take the Lotus and Lilac Park that have been criticized so much any day over this almost featureless white box. I don't understand how people can complain about 'boring uninspired designs' and then praise something like this

It looks fairly nice for a suburban office park building. Oh wait, that's student housing?
