with the closing of Home Outfitters, which was the Bay's...I'm not sure exactly what, but it did fill a certain retailing niche (which I personally miss), perhaps they are setting up Zellers as a replacement brand.

Zellers is and always has been a "discount" brand. I think that this is a smart move by the Bay owners to align two non-competitive brands in close adjacency one above the other. Zellers should compete favorably with Walmart.

I was wondering the same thing - there are some larger spaces will available in the old Target section of the mall, but not sure if they're large enough for a gym.
