Double Greeting doesn't disappoint.
One thing that I want AI to begin working on post-haste is a computer sensory button that can be activated with video and photos so that we can enjoy the aroma as well as the visuals of vitals... if I am going to have my senses tortured I want to go deep... in for a penny! Those wontons and noodles have caused me to weep loudly.

I took my daughter to the southside Brew & Bloom for brunch today because, well, she’s 7 (almost 8) and that’s a whole vibe for her. The place looks nice, the service was great, and the food LOOKED good, but it was overall disappointing at the price range. I ate my Benny and half my daughter’s waffle and still felt hungry after. Food was just okay. I’m surprised they don’t have a kids menu. It feels insane having to pay $30+ for a 7 year old to eat half a waffle and a pure sugar drink.

I’ve been to the north edge location twice in the past and both the quality and serving size of the food was much better. I don’t know if the south location is different or they’ve just changed their menu.

I will be back, because my daughter is my princess and she loves it. lol.

Before the ESO + Benjamin Grosvenor concert tonight (Britten's piano concerto 😍), I ate at the Oil Lamp before stopping into Chai Coffee Day, a little chai/coffee shop in the Quarters. The decor was bare-bones but the chai was very good—definitely much better than Remedy (yech)—and the owner was super friendly. Definitely recommend for anyone in this part of downtown. (Sorry, terrible photo—it's the one with the red sign.)

There's also this café selling suya (Nigerian meat skewers), coffee, tropical drinks, and pastries opening up soon nearby.

Me too, partly because I had dental surgery that means mushy foods for two weeks 🙁

Is the Solar restaurant now open at Jasper/104 St? It appeared so when I drove by this morning.
