From yesterday. Tried (and failed) to capture the landscaping on the corner of 142 st and Stony Plain Rd. It does look awesome, though. I'll try to catch it tomorrow when I go for errands nearby.

On the Stinkweed Scale I have to give this one a 90 for aesthetics -- very sensitive design with quality materials in the International Style idiom; and a 90 for functionality -- well thought out in terms of interface with the street and patios. I suspect that it may not be leased out completely until the LRT rumbles by, but it is nonetheless well situated to take full advantage of that eventuality. This is one of Edmonton's better mixed use developments.

Is Tasty Tomato finally moving into WestBlock? They were toying with the idea a year or two back but there were never any updates or announcements.

It's going to be 41 seats so not massive. Not sure what the name of the restaurant will be though. It's going in the CRU just north of Square 1 Coffee.

The Cutting Room (hair salon) is also moving in, for those that didn't already know.
