I took this last night of the Davis station. Apologies for the bad quality. They also built the bridge going over 75 Street before going on ground level.

From Saturdays Quarters to China town walk.

The approximate view looking from the Tawatinâ Bridge over the North Saskatchewan river. Its' a bugger to climb up those damn columns and I highly recommend waiting for the Valley Line's completion sometime in the next year (or two)... ?

Ah, to be continued, but you should have seen that River Queen 'near miss' incident of but a moment later. That poor young lady was not impressed. Rivers are tricky at best.

A big update today in two parts. First post will take you from Downtown to Argyll Road.

Trackwork progressing in the heart of downtown.



Churchill Stop



Between 99 and 97 Streets they are installing a noise/vibration dampening system because of nearby Citadel and Winspear.



The storm water retention tank underneath Quarters Stop is progressing.



Connors Hill



A bunch of shots of the progress on 95 Ave. They were definitely pushing to get this done before the snow flies. I probably saw about 25 people working on this section.

85 Street. The last shot is of Holyrood Stop.



Connors Road intersection



Beside Bonnie Doon mall, the last photo being the progress on Bonnie Doon stop



83 Street south of 82 Ave. Both sides of the road are complete and they’re getting ready to put the track in.



Landscaping is mostly complete south of 76 Ave.

Here’s part 2 of my 16.58 km walk!

There’s only a few sections of the Davies elevated track that need to be raised. The latest street to get shadowed by a span is Coronet Road.

Millbourne/Woodvale Stop



Along 66 Street. Notice sections of the catenary system is now getting wired and some landscaping is happening in the boulevard near Grey Nuns Stop.
