Glad to see they've redone the walkways around it too. As a business student, I always found that pathway to the business quad pretty rough.

Fencing has been pushed closer to the actual building and the laneway that was previously closed as been rebuilt and re-opened. Looks very sharp, tons of activity every single day.

This was my reaction as well... I go by it every day and the exterior seems to be 80% done. I find it hard to believe the interior will take 3 years.

Maybe for once the goal is to underpromise and overdeliver? Easy to say it opened ahead of schedule when you give yourself twice the time required, lol

I would guess that a good portion of that building's labs are akin to outfitting a hospital and having worked on a few labs they easily take 2-3x.

AS Ian says the fit out does take a lot longer. The rough in has been done but the fine work of fitting out and commissioning the Labs will take some time. In fact the commissioning will take 6 months to a year depending on the Lab levels.
