Yes - they are being positioned as 'vacation rentals' (ie. Airbnbs) I believe.

Now this is what I call a mixed-use area. Doesn't have to be a literal mixed-use building but can also be allowing different uses on the same street. Non-Euclidian zoning is the best!!

Nailed it! We need to find ways to have more neighbourhoods have these walkable, community-minded destinations.

Rode by this morning. Looks great. Just missing bike racks for potential customers like me who don't live close enough to walk, but would ride my bike there. Plenty of street parking if someone plans to drive though. And of course, an easy walk for Riverdale residents, which will be the majority of their customer base I assume.
