The Jameson Residential Tower
Construction of a 17 storey residential apartment complex in the Oliver neighbourhood of Edmonton. Upon completion, the building will contain 140 residential units, ground floor retail, and an underground parkade. Construction began on September 7, 2021.

It is blocked no more. It has been removed. I think the city was giving them until Oct. 31 to get things in order or else clear the sidewalk for pedestrians.
Hopefully in the spring it will be a construction site again.

I am hearing from more people around the industry that this project will be canceled. The shoring permit will expire soon so the ownership group has to start building (Unlikely) or fill the hole back in fairly quickly.
Wow. Gotta feel bad for investors in this project.
