It was pushed back, but I suspect it will return in 2026 given that it is shovel ready and the lease up that they are seeing, let alone the student housing initiative and other factors, but costs, relatively low rents, opportunity cost and uncertainty remain a challenge in this market.

Sounds like they are investigating it, again, but conversions are tricky and often do not pencil out, especially given our relatively low rents.

Has the CN ever undergone extensive renos? If not I would expect there to be some asbestos in the walls/roof which would make a conversion more expensive and time consuming.
