Even though they're non-descript glass boxes, I really quite like Stantec Tower and the JW Marriott—or specifically, I love the way they reflect sunrises and sunsets.

^ Nice drone shot -- we are seldom treated to a view of downtown from this angle 
overlooking the nearly forgotten Dawson Bridge and Riverdale. The Hat at 5-Corners doesn't look nearly so lonely from this angle. I am guessing this photo is a few years old as it lacks the new Qualico Building on the right edge of downtown.

Controversial opinion: I like this view better than the one from Saskatchewan Drive. it gives more prominence to the other tallest buildings in the city and makes it look denser, imo.

That is a hot take. I think the view from the north looking south with Rogers Place is the best of all.
Second thought: no this is a close second. Best is from the south.

Looks even nicer inside. Someone posed the temps on Sunday, -23 outside +23 inside. Quite the building. and as a rec facility it is going to be a premier facility.

I kinda agree Ian. Standing on some of the Uof A roofs this past few weeks I get a good view of downtown. There are some great drone shots of the skyline as well. The shots we got a couple of year back with Travel Alberta were good as well.
