Riley's 108 Street Redevelopment | 20.2m | 6s | J+S Architect

Looking forward to seeing it rise.

Wouldn't it be great to see Norquest just north of this u/c, this site, Maclab on the funeral home, the loft project just south and phase 2 of Parks!

Maybe more...

Didn't get a picture but the entire site is demolished now!
I was really impressed with that crew; the southernmost building, which was the last one standing, literally came down overnight.

I have a strong suspicion that there is no more to tell other than what has been already noted on this site.

Well we already know that MacLab has the funeral home site and is purported to be planning a student housing project and we recently saw rendering of what is proposed for the site south of that, and we know there a is a "future" phase for Parks II, and the other thing that we released vis-a-vis Norquest and their planned next 2 phases -- that pretty much consumes the better part of 108th Street. Going over to 106th Street there is the Shift and the proposed Arc building south of it. The warehouse Park takes up most of the remainder in-vicinity land south of 102nd Avenue. 103rd Avenue up to 107th Street is going to be torn up with LRT construction. I haven't heard of anything else planned in the area -- NorQuest controls the blocks from 104th Ave. south to 102nd Ave. east of 109th Street to 107th. There was a new apartment complex announced for the south side of Jasper avenue east of 110th street.

There's still developable land left on 108 st between Jasper & 102 aves

Half of that is NorQuest expansion territory (107 to 108). The City could step in now and rezone to an Education Zone and kill any other speculation.

Do you mean that it's already under the ownership of Norquest? Or have they just expressed future interest?
