I wonder how many years it will be for Edmonton to have its next multi-family, mid-density type development that isn't rentals in the downtown/wihkwentowin communities? I'd also like to see some townhome type projects incorporated of various sizes.

Yes, it would be nice to see multi family that is not rentals, but I have noticed these things sure go in cycles. I remember a time when all that was being built here was condos and a number of rentals were being converted to condos.

It will probably take a combination of rising rents, lower interest rates and higher prices for SFHs to again make condos more attractive for more people here. This combination seems to be happening, so I think we'll get there.
