Basically saying ‘we must keep sprawling forever if people want cheap homes’.

Easy to say that when your industry isn’t required to maintain the infrastructure that supports the sprawl in perpetuity.

And apparently this is a province that cares greatly about protecting prime agricultural land (and definitely not only if it is about stopping renewable energy projects........)

Edmonton's home market poised for banner prices​



I recently spoke to someone selling one of those affordable homes, there were multiple offers and they got more than they expected, well above their asking price.
 
Hard to sell more, if not more listed. I suspect those that can wait are, in anticipation of improving prices

Its more likely those not listing to sell have a 1.79% mortgage and are waiting for more favourable mortgage rates.
