Promoting both gondola lines at the same time interferes with each other. At least with Edmonton's line, charging a fee to use makes sense. The Red Deer government woud have to foot the entire operations bill because no individual will want to pay a fee just to go to a park across the river. Good luck in convincing Red Deer taxpayers.

No, they do not interfere with each other. They are separate projects, ran in completely different ways and their financing and operations do not affect what happens with the other.

I don’t understand him. As my councillor, I’ve agreed with a good lot of his stuff, but this is such a weird thing to be so adamantly against. And he provides absolutely no city run alternative. Or just says “but high level line” as if those are even remotely comparable. The bus service is inadequate and the city shouldn’t build a gondola themselves so just let it go Michael.
