TSN’s Dreg’s saying that the “Oilers are the front runner for John Klingberg.” Wtf?! Who said we were interested in a player that hasn’t played in year and a half…….gawd! Please say we’re not gonna waste Kane’s LTIR $$ on him!!!!
Klingberg is terrible...
He probably won't cost much, but there's a very low chance he works out. He hasn't been anything special since his rookie year, and has consistently been declining since.

Many have written him off... downward trend, but there is a real potential for some upside here; especially with points and more importantly puck movement.

No cap hit $1m or under. If he doesn't work out he can be moved to the minors and his contract goes with him. Good signing, see if he's healthy, perhaps move Josh Brown.

Connor Brown was out for a year and it took him another year to get back into game shape. Don’t expect too much

He does have a good coach who can work in sympathy to his style of play... so maybe. The Oilers seem to have a place in their collective hearts for the unfortunates. It's a wait-and-see but I suspect a 60/40. One thing we do know for sure -- he is Swedish.
