First win in Minnesota since 2019, and a big one at that!
No reason for the Oilers to bring Vinny back, I'd be open to it if Vancouver retained 50% to bring his cap hit down to $1 million but they will probably find a new home for him without having to do that. Vinny was good on the PK and was starting to use his size and reach well but he was slow and had practically no ability to move the puck, Emberson is a better fit in Knoblauch's system.
The Oilers should still be looking for another top 4 defensemen, Kulak has done an excellent job at playing the 2nd pairing with Nurse despite being on his off-side but ideally thats not what you want to enter the playoffs with.
