There happened to be some activity when I went by today actually! Barricades around the trees, and the MUP is blocked off, looks like they are doing some drainage work.

I think some more machinery has shown up as well, there seems to be more than the 2 that were sitting there after they did the partial excavation in the summer.

Progress is being made! Looks like the north excavation is finished and they are starting some formwork. Seems shallow though, are they not doing a parkade for this?


Edit: Looking back at earlier posts, there is indeed no vehicle parking for this one. (Also subsidized transit passes and a loaner cargo bike, amazing!)

Should come up to grade fairly quick, maybe they'll even catch up with Westrich down the street

The MUP is reopened, fencing is up around the entire site, and they have a site office setup. Not much else has changed, but this one should get going once the snow melts!

I believe there is no parking due to the very close proximity to McKernan/Belgravia station.

I'm a huge fan of this kind of development, and I believe it will be more profitable for developers, and more affordable for residents that won't have to subsidize expensive parking despite never using it.

How does that work with the city. Is this a unique partnership, or is there a program for such buildings?

Given the location I expect most people living here would be going to the University near by. It would make little sense to drive there, many people would either walk or take the nearby LRT

They only had their Footings and Foundation permit issued, still waiting on the main 'structural' BP. It's still under review
