Such a shame Mackenzie tower not happening, was an elegant sophisticated design. I'm ok the site remaining as is with the old building if any future tower was any less than what would have been. Also ok with it if it means nearby proposals have a better chance of happening... Clancey... Shift...

I was harsh in my choice of words. I should have said a renovation for the "adaptive re-use of under utilized buildings" per the Beljan website. @81 is an example of a project where Beljan is added floors of housing and which is intriguing ... hopefully if they are the developer on the site in discussion they will do something amazing with it and add some housing above the existing building.
