Someone at PCL told me that they have to be done by March. Marriot brings there own people in to do a month of commissioning then training of staff. So expect an early summer Grande opening.

They will almost be a year late on this. They wanted to be open for this last Hockey season.

On the Marriott website they underscore a March 2019 opening -- however they are not yet taking any bookings,

@archited That's odd, I've heard a few folks saying they are taking bookings now. And of course I go to look and their website is broken.

@Daveography -- I was only referring to their March Calendar which simply indicates TBD, although the website says they are opening in March. Maybe room reservations come later.

Hopefully they aren't in a rush like they were on Rogers. I would hope this is not the case given they are already a year behind schedule.
