Hello everyone. I've been lurking here for a while, but haven't really posted. Other spots on the Internet that discuss Edmonton development have become stale, futile, or heated, for my tastes at least.

Been a while since the shots of the model. Here is another angle that is pretty well lit and shows the portion that isn't built out as of yet. Guess it will be quite noticeable. One thing I didn't notice before is on the south part of the podium, there appears to be an elevator or staircase in the middle (the white area). Looks like you can see this looking at the Rogers Place cams right now as a box protruding from the ground. Guess that will be the edge of the podium to give an idea as to how close it will be to the Stantec podium. I wish I had a picture from the CoE tower sidewalk to better reflect this, since that is now open. Perhaps, someone passing by can grab a shot of that at some point with a person or vehicle in the frame for a point of reference.

@Daveography is this the sales model you were referring to in the Stantec thread? Or is it from marketing materials?

@westcoastjos Same one, yeah.

This might be interesting information to track progress and calculate the race between Stantec and Marriott . The floor to ceiling elevation for the Legends residential floors:

23 4.050m
24 3.285m
25-42 2.775m
43-50 3.125m
51-53 3.475m
54 5.575m

Very interesting @RoyGBiv! Are you certain those are floor to ceiling and not finished floor to finished floor? We are on the 2.775m floors now -- those compared to something close to 4m for Stantec's office floors, both going up at the same weekly rate (Stantec has a larger construction crew than does JW -- that was obvious from the beginning).

The units are being promoted as 9'-0" and 10'-0" ceilings so I am counting on that being floor to ceiling but as a wise man once said:
"There are substantial design inconsistencies between model and renderings, model and reality, and renderings and reality"

Had a look from the west (no photos though, sorry), but it looks like they're now forming/pouring the first level inset portion.
