This feels basically like a farmers market hybrid with a mall. Really excited for it. Great stepping stone for some before full stores, and great small footprint format for those not needing full stores in our digital era. One of these plus a cheap warehouse in Leduc feels like a strong model for a lot of businesses.

This was supposed to be completed this past summer, but we are already in the middle of autumn and nothing's been done yet construction-wise.

It's still working through the process. Some service requirements came up that are now being worked through, in addition to some Provincial regulations under the Historic Resources Act.

There were some on-site a couple weeks back. Not sure if they were just for advertising purposes or if they will be part of the actual development.

So... are the shipping containers being shipped to the construction site by train?

These things are easy to transport with a winch trailer and a roll off bar…….I’ve moved 100’s of these

Oh I know that, but it's still cooler to see it coming off a train! I'm not being serious about this though.

If anything, it might be an interesting way to do it for marketing purposes.
