I've walked through the lobby area to access the bank and you can see the transformation. as a old tenant of the building I am going to miss the retail portion. But defiantly excited for the change.

Well, when this project is all done, nobody will notice the difference on the tower, but the main floor and parkade are much improved.

Yeah, difference at ground level is night and day. Way less oppressive now thanks to that completely clear glass.

I agree @Freedm , but the towers ext/interior is 10 times better on many levels, not just as noticeable yet. I think its new skin will impress soon , as shown above in post # 83. This is one tower that I didn't think needed reskinning in a bigway, but it will soon be up to Edmonton's (new) standards. World class.

The building owners will notice a difference in their energy usage; not just because of more efficient glass, but they completely redid the HVAC too. Should be a good change.
Just wish they hadn't eliminated the fine-grained retail that was there, or at least had replaced it in that space along 103 Ave in the base of the parkade. They still can in the future, at least.

talked with the ladies at HSBC bank yesterday, and they said a restaurant and/or coffee shop is going into the main level. They heard rumors that it could be a Earl's.

Earl's would be very good. We have a few restaurants in that area now but not nearly enough in my opinion.
