The company that owns this seems to specialize in undeveloped lots for a long time in prominent locations. What the heck is wrong with them?

The Leston building will lease up quickly. Meanwhile, Regency will continue to sit on a lot that does nothing but harm the neighbourhood. It's frustrating.

Fun fact: 2025 marks a decade since Regency demo’d the CWB branch building here and started excavation. Darn shame Leston couldn’t pry this one out of Regency’s hands during their massive shopping spree this year.

At this point, I just wish they’d sell. I have no confidence in Regency delivering a high-quality development for this area.
