I was reading somewhere that in addition to this being built, they have constructed tunnels to the Glenrose and Royal Alex for patients as well. That's a cool feature I didn't even think about.

There already was a tunnel. This may just be an extension into the main tunnel. I've been in it a few times. Nice warm efficient way to get patients across.
