Just need the rest of the Todd Cleaners building to be occupied now. Grocery store please
Could definitely fit a small-scale urban grocer in there.Just need the rest of the Todd Cleaners building to be occupied now. Grocery store please
Despite the Bateman's lack of competence the neighbourhood seems to be trying to come back.Could definitely fit a small-scale urban grocer in there.

With any luck that rendition will be delayed forever. Is everybody in Edmonton in a low income situation? The push for affordable housing has gotten out of hand. That proposed building will be in a high profile location on one of the nicest routes into the river valley and downtown and will reputationally damage the city. They’re looking to break ground in early 2026, but this has been delayed so much don’t hold me to it.
Not everyone, but a good chunk of the city is. Cost of living skyrocketed and interprovincial and international migration has strangled the job market to a point in which even some jobs that previously paid relatively well are down to minimum wage because people will take what they can get. Couple that with the fact that Alberta hasn't seen an increase in the minimum wage in 6 years, and now has the lowest in the country, and yeah, Edmonton needs affordable housing, and A LOT of it.Is everybody in Edmonton in a low income situation?
