'too many people in one venue/block'
Yet my hometown of Stony Plain, and the limited resources that their RCMP detachment has, can handle Farmers Days.
What a bunch of killjoys.

Active to the extent that the rezoning is no long 'on hold' and they may get to Council yet this year if they can make it in before the election period.Would you clarify it as 'active'?
Last I checked they were slowing this guy down.
The City has received an application for a proposed rezoning at 10123 & 10145 - 106 Street NW.Consultation open https://engaged.edmonton.ca/tower106
To be honest (maybe this is just NIMBYism), I'm a bit annoyed at how our core is shaping out to be with more and more super tall skinny buildings. Someone made a point that it's naturally emerged from how North American cities sell and handle lots, but I would much prefer to see row housing like in the big European cities.
It was put on hold last summer so glad that the rezoning is active again and progressing.IT'S ALIVE! IT'S ALIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!
