Generally speaking that is tied to an HVAC replacement if not for new construction.
 
Check in with @Airboy but I believe it is related to restaurant upgrade of exhaust and Fresh Air Make-up units for the restaurant project.
 
Update on The Tap Room on 104. Walked by it the other day and it is dead in there. It also looks like they are now closed on Mondays, and they also only open at 3pm now on weekdays.

I am guessing they are trying to hang on until the playoffs, but that is still 3 months away.
 
I feel 2025 will probably be a turn around year with some bigger positive news stories. There has been good news in 2024, but it has been smaller things that get overlooked or not covered as much.

Some of the media gets stuck in a rut and their prevailing sentiment is negative, so something closing still seems to get a lot more coverage than something new opening even though both are happening.
 
If you guys had to buy an investment condo, would you choose either Stantec (Sky Residences) or Legends? Assuming those were your only two choices. Anyone know anything about either buildings? Build quality, management, etc? I am thinking of scooping a couple up to rent out.

Even though there might be some rental premium there, would any of these units cash flow given the relatively high unit prices along with what I imagine are higher condo fees, higher property tax, interest rates?
