Instant vibe.

It will build off of this initial start and regain much of what it had, but it already felt much better and more vibrant.

It's a fantastic, small market at this stage. There were a ton of people there relative to its size and the vendor selection is great (again, relative to its size).

I left feeling optimistic that this will grow very quickly.

 

[Greenspace]

All the main large vendors were there. It's a new market so some vendors won't take a risk until they know the customers are back, and word will get around about the success of day one. Sales were really good, area businesses were back to sales they had in 2019 and were really happy.

LRT will be a challenge but this year there's a bit of reprieve. It won't be 180 vendors like before, so many other markets have sprung up since 2019 but the main vendors from before were there. Missing a few things like meat, cheese and bread. The vibe is there and weather was amazing.

EDBA has the resources to market it properly and keep things in check. I'm hopeful they will continue to organize it.

True for me as well. Just the dog is a big presence and you cant miss her.

Another 10 new vendors this Saturday, another 6 after that. They will start expanding the market northward.

Nice they are adding. It was a little light last weekend.

It's a new market, will take time to build up customer traffic for some of the vendors to take a risk and come back. Next week we'll be seeing more meat/bread/cheese.
