All the main large vendors were there. It's a new market so some vendors won't take a risk until they know the customers are back, and word will get around about the success of day one. Sales were really good, area businesses were back to sales they had in 2019 and were really happy.
LRT will be a challenge but this year there's a bit of reprieve. It won't be 180 vendors like before, so many other markets have sprung up since 2019 but the main vendors from before were there. Missing a few things like meat, cheese and bread. The vibe is there and weather was amazing.
EDBA has the resources to market it properly and keep things in check. I'm hopeful they will continue to organize it.
