Nice they’re getting this done in one season. Asphalt on the bridge deck has been experiencing pretty severe delamination issues past few years.

Failed mayoral candidate Cheryll Watson is at it again. 🤨
It might have been better if she ran to be councilor downtown rather than for Mayor. She brings up valid concerns and there seems to have been some adjustments made so hopefully the disruption will be not too bad.

I was going to vote for Cheryll Watson for mayor in 2021 until she campaigned to cancel the Valley Line West. Fastest switch-up I’ve ever done
I always wonder if they're stupid and don't know the legal ramifications of getting out of a contract of that size and complexity or if they're disingenuous in an effort to dupe their thoughtless and willfully uninformed constituents. Either way not someone I wanna vote for. Cartmell gave me a similar head scratcher during his campaign on the whole infill/development question.

I would chalk that up mainly due to lack of her experience. Anyone who actually spent some time on council should have known that wasn't realistic. This is why I feel being mayor shouldn't be an entry level position.

Cartmell on the other hand really should have known better. He had other problems too, but how he handled the infill question was the impetus for him not becoming mayor.
